In this stamina building plan you will perform a variety of workouts: from cruise intervals to tempo intervals to tempo runs to steady state runs. Running a variety of workouts in the Stamina Zone – the training zone where your lactate threshold is – produces the biggest boost in stamina. The end result is that you will be able to maintain faster paces for longer periods. 

It is tailored based on running experience

  • Novice/Beginner, running 3x per week, up to 30 mins with a long run up to an hour
  • Intermediate, running 3-4x per week, for 30-60mins, with a long run up to 90mins
  • Advanced, running 4-7x per week, for 60mins with a long run of 2 hours
